ZIGZAG WOOD is a family woodworking studio based in the Houston, Texas area.

We create original foldable Montessori furniture for everyday family moments — cooking, learning, helping, and growing side by side.

Our products are designed by Oleksii, a design engineer with a background in construction and more than 25 years of experience working with plywood, structure, furniture, and practical handmade products.

Each piece is made, assembled, and checked by hand with attention to strength, simplicity, smooth edges, and everyday use at home.

ZIGZAG WOOD was inspired by our daughter, Dariia, who became our first real-life tester and helped us understand what truly works for children and parents.
